the end of the world, pamplona

Every year in July Pamplona holds its world-famous Festival de San Fermin, or running of the bulls, of course. And Basque company Kukuxumusu, known for its trademark quirky illustrations on everything from t-shirts to notebooks, often comes up with a themed illustration for the year and becomes the must-have souvenir for those visiting Pamplona.

This year’s combined the running of the bulls with the Mayan Apocalypse, with Kukuxumusu’s typical irreverant style: wine, the festival’s traditional white outfits with red scarves, nudity, asteroids…
